Songkran.
Songkran or Thai New Year is celebrated around April 13 to 15 each year in Thailand,together with New Year celebrations for many of the traditional calendar used in South Asia and Southeast Asia.At the beginning,the festival dates are determined based on astrological calculations,but now the date specified in the festival calendar.Songkran is celebrated on the hottest day in each year in Thailand.At first,the Thai New Year is the beginning of the year in Thailand.
Songkran festival led by tradition splashing water.People roam the streets while holding buckets of water or water pistol,or standing in the street while holding a hose and pour water towards other.The custom of splashing water was originally a way to pay homage to others by capturing "blessed water'' which has been poured to clean Buddha statues and poured into the new parents to give good luck to their families.
For young people,due in April is the hottest month in Thailand.It was made the day festive fun with poured water on the others,until the onset of symptoms such as fighting the water and splashing water at people who drive vehicles.
